ML Accessories' continuing growth and expansion means we have a number of sales opportunities across the UK. We have a fantastic team of sales professionals backed up by office based analyst support and we want to grow our team.

In particular we have an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to cover the North East region. Candidates based in Leeds and surrounding areas would be ideally placed to cover the area which includes Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne and Wear, and the Tees Valley.

ML Accessories markets electrical and lighting products to the independent electrical wholesaler market, including national groups and buying groups throughout the UK and Ireland. We are a fast paced business and have achieved an excellent reputation with our customers for our standards of customer service. We are very proud that readers of Electrical Wholesaler magazine have recently voted us as Best Overall Supplier for the second year running.

The role:

We wish to appoint a capable Area Sales Manager who has the skill and experience to maintain and develop existing relationships and to introduce and implement new sales relationships. We are expecting significant growth in the North East region and the ideal candidate will be focused on achieving exceptional results.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will already be selling to the electrical wholesale market and have the depth of experience and personable approach to be able to build relationships, trust and confidence. Experience of lighting products is essential and it would be beneficial to have some experience of working for a wholesaler. The successful candidate will be dynamic, driven and well organised in order to manage their whole area to ensure proactive coverage and management of the customer base to achieve significant growth.

Remuneration:

A competitive basic salary is offered, along with a generous sales commission scheme which is uncapped for on target sales. The successful candidate will also be provided with a company car, mobile phone and tablet. A company pension scheme and private health cover after qualifying service is also provided. Annual leave of 23 days plus bank holidays is given and this rises to 25 days with service.
